I also have it and I agree that it just blows away the native Korg pianos and is an indication of just how good the M3 COULD sound if Korg wasn't so cheap with the storage.

But if your experience is with a high quality PC like my ADK Pro Audio PC, there's just no comparison. I wouldn't trade it for a dozen Macs. Funny...i had 2 Custom built PCs for music and they were still cr$p...imagine, custom built, it took them one month to configure them...you ever heard of ...

If you're PC experience is with Dell, HP or other low quality box manufacturers, I could understand why you might think a Mac is better. But if your experience is with a high quality PC like my ADK Pro Audio PC, there's just no comparison. I wouldn't trade it for a dozen Macs.

Greetings! I'm happy that you are enjoying these samples. I've thought about dropping the sample rate from 44,100 to 22,050 to make the samples smaller so you can load more sounds into memory. I don't think the sound would degrade very much. Unfortunately, my server storage is about maxed out and I ...

I use my computer sound system: a 100w Onkyo receiver powering a pair of JBL 4311 studio monitors; no coloration at all.

Tronman... these are killer! You sampled every single note... wonderful sound, I like the brightness. It gives more options in the long run. Glad you like them. I had considered sampling my Tron with the tone set at a quarter or a third, but decided to sample it with the tone full. You can take ...

Thanks. these are great. I'll be using these with my Korg TR plus the PC workstation I'm building. I suspect you don't have the tape banks, but I don't suppose you know where I could find samples of the mellotron piano? Hi, the M-Tron and M-Tron Pro are the only sample sources I know of for the ...

Melly Samples

If anyone is interested, I have some Mellotron multisamples that you may be interested in playing with. They have been sampled at 44,100 and each set is about 20 mb, so it would probably be a good idea to halve the sample rate if you want to load them into your M3. The quality shouldn't degrade too ...

If you convert WAV files to Korg format, are the samples compressed? Is there any loss of sound quality? Does Korg format load faster than WAV format? If I have one sample per key, will they map correctly?

Thanks. I had a feeling that the cable was the problem since it didn't plug in very easily when I completed installation of my EXB-RADIAS. Unfortunately, my M3 didn't come with an extra cable, so I have to wait for one to be delivered.

Dead Keyboard

Yesterday, I turned on my M3 and it produced no sound via the keyboard. I shut it off for a couple of hours, turned it back on and it worked fine. After about 15 minutes of playing, the keyboard stopped working again. The pads work though. The connection to the module seems OK, but I really don't ...

EXB-RADIAS Question

Does the EXB-RADIAS store anything in the M3 memory or EXB-M256? I'm hoping not to lose any memory so I can continue to load my own sound banks. I recently ordered one from Sweetwater, but they're on backorder, so I can't test it myself.

Bouncing between banks is a great suggestion. It's working well. Thanks!
