Have you tried lowering the signal that you send to the miniKP? It might be limiting the signal to avoid clipping, since it does need to have a level that it can process for the effects. If that doesn't work, you might use the headphone output to boost the signal, instead of the line out. yes i did ...

just bought my nanoPad yesterday and fresh out the box the pads had a funny " burnt rubber/glue" like smell to them. its not as strong today but still there. did anyone else experience this? is this normal? will the smell go away or should i take it back?
