Trust me I feel your pain. I hope you don't mind if I inject some of my current experiences with my zero4 mixer. I've had to repair an FX fader, then lost firewire/audio twice. Both two separate repairs, back to back. Key point, seperate repairs voiding the last repair warranty as its a seperate ...

had the same problem and sent back for repair to a local korg repair representative in Edmonton, Electronic Analyst. $350 later its going back for repair directly back to korg. I am hoping that the local shop or korg will cover the charges for the second repair. If not it is going in the garbage or ...

I'll try calling them this week but what Im wondering is why the mixer says CSA Certified 120V only when also says 110-240AC on the plug. for me it was- $370 for labor and a new main board. I lost ...

In the picture, can someone explain why it says CSA approved - 120V only?

I'm bringing this up because I had a voltage surge, and a failure in my power bar. The voltage indicator displayed 220V. After that I lost firewire and then all audio.

hey man, i opened mine up.

you have to take the main board off the front panel and remove it to get access to the fader. Its a solder mount fader, and in my case the pin broke and I desoldered the fader and soldered in another pin.

let me know if you need help

Zero 4 - Mac - Can't connect to Firewire Soundcard

The soundcard is not recognized. It was working flawlessly last night. The last time this happened I removed the AC power, and reconnected. Checked the audio devices, boom there it was again. My firewire ports are fully functionaly. I can't connect through the Korg updater. Please, any suggestions ...

good news. after 2 hours of careful disassemble, I de soldered my sliding potentiometer. the pin had busted off, (hense the partial contact with pressure on the fader). I soldered on a resistor leg, trimmed it to size and then re soldered back on the board. after a few hours of re assembly I have ...

FX fader failure - Zero4 Mixer

I bought a refurbished Zero4 mixer, two years ago from Nova Musik. Haven't had any problems until now. The FX and loop machine will not function unless I put pressure on the fader. I have some electronics background so I had disassembled the Zero4 down to the circuit board. Unfortunately the FX ...
