Anyway, thanks a lot, that explains to me what I should do! greetings, kon you can still play it live. it's one of ...

What a great thread. Hope the Korg guys are reading all of this. One thing I'd like re the sampler is the ability to sample not just drum hits, but phrases of several bars' length. That way you could fade one loop/track into the next, layer multiple loops, remix on the fly, etc. (This is what I try ...

im my opinion that is the ugliest thing i have ever seen. What a nice comment. My goal was not to create a superb design, I just wanted to brainstorm about a new Electribe: Which features, what would be handy, how should the user interface be - which place should a function have on the hardware ...

an added synth part would be nice then just move the small accent part of the drum part up to give space for the synth accent below it so save space :)

a lot of the juicy features have been mentioned.

It's nice to dream. thanks for the effort, man!

you will see in the organizer which slots are occupied by the factory sounds that you like so it's just a matter of choosing which slots to replace the samples in :D

Audiophiles make me laugh man. They can't tell the difference between a half step and a whole step in a scale but they just swear they can tell the difference between cables on their stereo. Whatever though, if they want to stimulate the economy buying $500 dollar cables so they can listen to the ...

given your situation, I say go for the ESX. with your budget, and the fact that the ESX is already preloaded with nice kits and sounds, you can get by with it. I'm not sure exactly how on the fly you need something to loop but the ESX can loop on the fly without having to stop the machine. anything ...

have you tried instantly pressing mute the moment it starts recording in song mode? that might do it. Would take perfect timing though but it's a start.

I read your post the other day. I just couldn't understand exactly what your problem is that's why the member's might have no clue on how to answer your query. but to try... Song mode is composed of a combination of patterns so I guess the parts that are muted might be that of a copy of the pattern ...

go for the warranty dude. I don't think your prob with running it to its peak caused it. I've gone through all incarnations of the KP and I never experienced that even running red.

yeah I guess you meant monophonic? Well, I guess we all have to live with it. There are a lot of threads about complaints about the limitations of boxes out there (even in like the MPC5000) and most of the time, users really would just have to make do with it and find workarounds and possibly make ...

hey man, glad to see you here.

Yeah I learned also from the forum that we can do away with the smartmedia for the EMX. I just decided to get one for it as an additional backup for the ESX's smartmedia but with just the EMX, you can backup your files without it.
