What you describe sounds like a hardware issue .. specifically, a bad/loose connection between the keyboard and the electronics. Sometimes cable connections can loosen up during shipping, or connections can be affected by oxidation. The fact that those keys are still present during playback suggests ...

If you are a piano player, don't buy M50-61. Look at the Nord Electro 3-61. It has semi weighted waterfall keys, it's better for piano and organ players. What about the keybed of a M50-73 or 88? The keyboard on the 88 is great .. it's very well built, sturdy, and has great weighted keys, very much ...

I don't know whether this will help or not... but I'm a computer geek and understand what LSB and MSB mean in that world, and it's probably the same meaning in this case. MSB and LSB can mean either Most Significant Bit/Least Significant Bit OR Most Significant BYTE and Least Significant BYTE. I'm ...

If it were mine, I'd get inside the unit and check every cable to make sure everything is connected properly. It's possible for a cable to come undone or partially undone during shipment. If that doesn't work, I think you're looking at returning it to Nova, or finding the nearest Korg repair guy ..

If you feel brave enough and competent enough to do it, there are a couple of things you can check.. First, with a voltmeter, check the output of the power supply and make sure it is producing the correct voltage and polarity. This info is printed on the body of the power supply. If the power supply ...

You're not providing much information. The drum sounds, as far as I know, are based on samples, like all the other sounds .. nothing really special about drums per se. So if you're not hearing them, it's almost certainly something you've done .. a setting, level, EQ, mute .. something related to ...

There has been some speculation that this problem may be limited to the m50-61. It would be interesting to hear if the 73s or 88s ever experience this issue ..

Krog ... everything is simple if you know how to do it. You're giving up too soon. I agree that the way different manufacturers handle the gritty details leave a lot to be desired ... a universal method would be far easier. But alas, that's not how it is. The more you learn about MIDI the easier it ...

Don't forget that nearly all computers have built-in sound capability, include inputs for line and mic sources ... so chances are all you need is the right cables to get from analog out on the m50 to .wav format in your computer ..
