I'm bumping this thread because the last post was never answered and I would like to know the answer. Basically what he's asking is can you route a clean organ sound (no leslie or cabinet effect at all) to separate outs without making it global in order to use a separate effects unit such as the ...

I just purchased a used Pa3X and it has this problem. The seller lives in south Florida and he had disclosed that in his ad. He or someone, did spray clear on the area around the joystick. It's not a very smooth job but at least it's not sticky. It's possible they brushed it on rather than spraying ...

Thanks Pete, appreciate the answers. In my music room I'm using a pair of EV SXa 1's, they're powered PA speakers, no effects. I also have a Spacestation V3 that I keep in the car for gigs. When I'm not feeling lazy I'll bring it in and hook it up but for messing around in the house the EV's are ...

Finally bought a Pa3X 76
I've had a Pa1XPro for many years and have been wanting the 3X and now a 4X since they came out. I can't justify buying one of these new so I had to wait until I found a good price on a used Pa3X. The few used one that come up are still too much because I'm cheap, what can I cay? Yes I know the 4X ...

Dave, I've followed your posts for years but never needed to respond before. I've worked as many tiny tight spaces as you have, trust me. I use a pair of Behringer B208D's for exactly what you need, close in monitoring. The problem with Behringer powered speakers is you can't push them at all, they ...

I don't have a Pa4x but I do know a bit about midi files. I would open the midi file in a DAW program and change the program change numbers to match the PC numbers in the Pa4x, save it with a new name indicating it's for the Korg and then import it to the Korg. All the midi PC numbers should be in ...

There is no one standard Hammond/Leslie sound. Except when you are using that pair together ? Yeah, a real Hammond/Leslie is the real deal but look at the differences there. One console sounds different from another and same with the Leslies. Years ago in a previous life I was doing an album and ...

Now you're getting into the deep weeds of personal preference. In addition to the Vent I also have the Gsi Burn which is what the Mojo sim is based on and it may be identical for all I know. The Burn has an excellent leslie as well but the difference is the overdrive and internal sound shaping. If ...

This subject is of great interest to me too. I'm considering the Pa4X and the B3 is of primary importance. I have a Vent that I use with my SK1 and it's a pretty dramatic difference and the SK1's sim isn't bad either. I don't expect an arranger to be a dedicated organ clone, just be good. If it's ...

Agree with everything you wrote including putting the SS horizontal on an amp stand. It's very counterintuitive but that has no effect on the stereo blooming, it's still there and it keeps the side firing speaker out of the drummers ear. I also have a PC3 76. The EP's are just stunning through the ...

I just saw this thread and wanted to comment. I was one of the first users of the SS because I live in LA and Aspen (the owner of CPS) has his studio about 20 miles from me. I drove there almost two years ago to test one out and bought one on the spot. I normally gig as a keyboardist in a full band ...

Since nobody has commented on the Spacestation amp I will. There is a thread over on the Keyboard Corner forum that started about 18 months ago and is at 140 pages now about the CPS Spacestation V.3 Since I live in LA I called Aspen exactly a year ago to ask if I could come to his studio to try one ...

I really don't like any of them, organ and voices are the two big weaknesses in the Pa1x for what I do. I just did two gigs this past weekend, one with the Korg and one with the Kurzweil. The overall sound quality is way better on the Kurz but since the Korg is specifically used as an arranger with ...
