Update w/ an issue again

Dear friends,

Thanks to this forum I have been able to easily combine sets for the past few months.

Last week I got a set but for some reason this particular set only when you load the drumkit it doesn't load the samples associated with it. Any idea what's going on?

Amir yes, it makes sense and it is the way it should be, i dont know how much you are into it but check a lil better after you do that...and you'll see. Just load one drum kit, then go check your samples, you'll still have 300 of them in there...probably you didnt check... Nadim, I have successfuly ...

Nedim,

Ever crossed your mind that you have a bad board? I haven't had a single issue as you are describing. I have done my share of loading, unloading and combining sets and I have not experinced what you are talking about.

Well it worked perfectly for me. I was able to mix three different sets together within couple of hours or less. The only thing I had to do was to point the drumkits to their new location, not a big deal.

Thank you Tommy, you don't know how greatful I'm for this tip.

Tommy,

Thank you so much. This is a lot easier than how I was doing it. I was following the PA1x video but this is much easier.

I hope to find the rest of the information I'm seeking somehow.

TommyF, This is a great video, thanks for sharing. But I am more interested in styles than sounds. From what I undrestand once you mix the sets the drum kits needs to be re-mapped otherwise they won't work or sound right. That's the part I'm interested. This video of course is first step but I think ...

Combining Sets

Dear fourm members, Is there a step by step guide somewhere that explains how to combine three samples? I know that it is exteremly time consuming and challenging. I have done this before with my PA-80 where I combined two 8mb cards to one 16mb card and it took me 5 months to do it. I don't mind ...
