I have yet to find a way to initialise the entire memory on startup, but see Page 22 of the manual. Select INIT.BANK and press WRITE. Rinse and repeat for each bank.

Happy sampling :-)

I think Robo means utilising something like the Behringer BCR2000 midi controller. I haven't gone that route, but keep meaning to try it out.. Something to interpret sysex values and map them to controls is what you are after. Interestingly the MS has worn very well, better sound than Volca, better ...

Bought. Yet to d/l but I know I shall not be disappointed.:-)

A good part of why I bought them was to say thank you for your excellent tutorials and all around generosity of spirit to 'tribe users. I wish you and your family the best of Christmases and a very Happy New Year :-)

Good, just brought a civilised discussion into disrepute. I left the thread a while back as it seemed to be going in circles with some not prepared to accept their differences. I am not sure anyone ever changes their standpoint from reading other peoples opinions but it was an interesting exercise ...

Random thoughts Gay stands for 'good as you', not a lot of people know that...(true). I hate it as a term and a label personally - LGBT is more inclusive but a bit of a mouthful. I must say that surely the whole point of a parade is that it is seen by the general public so visibilty to minors IS an ...

I dunno...depends how you define flaunting but parading oneself dressed for extreme acts the bedroom in front of Saturday morning shoppers always seemed to me to be counter productive to acceptance. And I just don't like camp, occasionally it can be funny but usually I find it more than a little ...

I guess in my ideal world, we just wouldn't have to worry about the nature of our sexual adventures and there should be no stigma attached to people should they wish to explore different aspects of themselves. Young people are indeed more open to persuasion which makes them vulnerable. i think it is ...

Yes, actually I have those and I do that - and of course it is awesome.. But the cost of refining the product was.... £400 for the MS (early adopter), £250 secondhand ESX - as they have discontinued it ( boo), £150 for a secondhand KP3... So that is £800.. No doubt that would be the price of an all i ...

Interesting and painstakingly made points. I am largely with you on most of what you both say.. and where we differ I appreciate where you are coming from and can understand why you should feel as you do. I do not relate to the more flamboyant expressions of sexuality either, guys. - particularly in ...

Agreed Beattific. Maybe my expectations were too high, but useful as it has been, the Microsampler served me best as a gateway to better equipment. None of it Korg. I know marketing dictates the nature of all products but I am now very wary of trusting Korg to deliver past their slick marketing ...
