changing prog/combi in Set List Mode with PCG Tools
Using PCG Tools, I cannot seem to change the patches assigned to any Set List slot. Is that normal? I can change the slot name, the description, the color and everything else except the sound/patch. For instance, A new Set List that is initialized has A-000 as the program and I can't seem to find a ...

I have done that before when I had enough octaves to work with, but this time all the sounds I use need all of their part (lower half) of the keyboard. I guess I will try using seq mode so I can try using different midi channels. It is interesting that you can set a sound to only be played from an ...

Combi split MIDI question
I have 2 keyboards midi'd together. I have a split on the upper keyboard and a split on the lower keyboard. The splits are on the same note. One keyboard is a Triton, the other is a Kronos. Is it possible to have one side of the split send or receive midi and not the other? I use organ/horns on one ...

Thanks Sander, I have owned the Kronos for only 3 weeks and it is DEEP! Plus, my first synth was a MicroMoog back in (wow) 1975, so I have been through a few learning curves. I am still at the point where I know what I want a setting to do, but it usually does nothing close to what I wanted it to do.

Saving real-time changes on Kronos?
Anybody know if changes made to a sound with the Real-Time control knobs be saved with the sound? I know the Triton could save the changes made with the Performance Edit soft switches, but not the hardware knob changes.

Lowest octave has no sound
I bought the Krome 73-key, got it in the mail and DOA. I take it to the warranty center and they order and replace the motherboard (their word). Now, the lowest octave (C to B) makes no sound on any program or combi. Octave shift buttons have no effect on this. And no midi info is being transmitted ...

A tip I learned
If you are going from a floppy to a CF card (for the LE), when you are saving on your Triton floppy drive and it asks if you want a divided file, say no. It takes more floppies to do this if you have a large group of samples, but the LE does not seem to like divided files and will not load them. I ...

Can't load all samples of a multisample
I have a multisample from my Triton Classic that uses three floppies to load. When I transfer the files to the smart media to load on my LE, I can't use the samples that are split from one floppy to the next. Any ideas???

Parts for Triton
I just got something for my Triton Classic from Parts is Parts. They seem to have anything you could want and were very helpful, so give em a try!

Triton classic sample to LE?
I am trying to get my own sampled sound loaded from my Classic into my LE. The classic uses a floppy drive and the LE uses an SD card. I thought I might use a pc with a floppy drive to copy the pcg and kmp files, but it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

Ribbon Controller problem
Anyone know if the ribbon controller from a classic 61 can be cleaned? I had a horrible problem that surfaced with weird pitch/filter/mod problem, and after I disconnected the ribbon controller, everything was fine. And if I should replace it, where to get one?

Ok
Seems like that could take a while. I would have to do that every time I powered up the unit, yes? or would I have to go to each individual patch one at a time and save it? That could take a while, but at least it would be there on power-up. Would you happen to know if different versions of OS have ...
