Lowest octave has no sound

Post by ricorox »

I bought the Krome 73-key, got it in the mail and DOA. I take it to the warranty center and they order and replace the motherboard (their word). Now, the lowest octave (C to B) makes no sound on any program or combi. Octave shift buttons have no effect on this. And no midi info is being transmitted. Could they have replaced the 73-key motherboard with a 61-key motherboard? I have not been able to play this thing for 2 weeks after getting it, and now this. :x

I think is better to go back service. Maybe they miss a PIN when installed the multi wiring cable.
Cheers,

I doubt the mother board makes a difference.

High likely there is no (wired) connection to the lower keys. Since you have warranty, it's best go to a service center. If it would be out of warranty, careful checking the wires would be my first thing to try.
