Had my board repaired twice now. First time it got new capacitors, and then the second time they replaced the whole motherboard with a new one. Both times the issue was fixed, but then came back. I had the "updating panel" problem. I don't think there's one certain thing that causes it, its just if something internal is wrong it gives that message. I hope you have your warranty because I needed to use mine to get it fixed.

I had my m50 61 running on os 1.0.3 and I think that was a bit of the problem. I was in the middle of a competitive ensemble season using it so I didn't want to mess around with the hardware. so I've been using the korg PS-1 pedal for a while without any problems, but recently its become pretty sensitive and sometimes does not sustain notes when I press it down, or randomly cuts off sustain when I have it pressed down. Do I just need a new pedal? kind of annoying considering I blew 30 ...

Any strings sound sustains itself as long as my foot is on the damper pedal. I want to have the note slowly fade out when I hold the pedal, not sustain infinitely. Is there anyway to do this? Thanks.

I apologize for the continuous stream of questions, but I have another problem. somehow my D combi bank has been been filled with all of the pcombis from bank A, so it's pretty much the same thing as A without all of the init programs. I want that bank of free programs, how do I get it back like that?

Thanks! I got the 61 key version. I've heard the complaints about the keys themselves but I've worked with a $200 yamaha for a couple years, I imagine the M50's keys would be a step up at least.
