I took mine to a repair center in my town and the tech noted that it was the most difficult board he has ever taken apart. There is a calculated sequence and specific bolt order that must be followed in order to disassemble.

I have 2 sv1's. One for studio and one for live. Love them both. Any issues, all minor, are totally worth it. I have not had any major issues with either of mine.

Hi folks. So I just bought a brand new SV 73. Yes, I now own two. One is kept in studio, and the other is used for gigging. On the brand new one, at start up many of the keys offer no sound at all. I have to turn it off/on, off/on/ off/on until it fires up and every key sounds. Anyone else ...

The tech said it looked like something was dropped on my keybed, which broke the keys near the hammer part. He was surprised and seemed to believe it was a solid build. He ordered 2 new keys and replaced them. It cost me 100 dollars. No problems since.

They are great. Worth every penny for me. However, don't buy it yet if you have to use credit. A keyboard is not worth going into debt. But, if you do decided to buy, have fun. I love both of mine.

Its tough to tell. My repair center guy, who is authorized for Korg, Yamaha, and Fender reported to me that this is a well built instrument and that broken keys should not happen again, unless something gets dropped on the keybed or maybe it gets dropped during transport. Otherwise he felt it was a ...

Just heard back from the repair center. I had two keys break near the hammers. They need to order new keys and replace them. Kind of a bummer. Been buying keyboards for many many years, and this almost never happens.

Also, and I posted this in another thread, but since this is not an offficial Korg forum, I wonder if anyone from the company even reads this forum or knows it exists. Perhaps this is the wrong tree we are barking up.

Excellent post. My guess is that the SV1 is not a big seller for them, so they don't put too much extra time into it. I still have yet to see anyone of note, outside of a paid endorsement, playing one live. Which is certainly not the case for the nord. I love my SV-1, but I agree...can we get some ...

SV1- first major problem...advice needed

Hello folks, After one year of heavy use and gigging, I have finally reached a problem. Last night, during a gig my B just below middle C collapsed. I press it down, and it stays down. Anyone have this happen? Is it something I can fix on my own? Any and all experience with this will be much ...
