I think I have a small problem with padkontrol pad as well.
One of the started to die on me. It sometimes doesn't respond to hitting the centre. SO I have to hit the sides.
Ya this is pretty annoying considering I only had this for like 2 months.

tpantano is probably right.
the mk isn't showing which patch is using and stuff.

Another problem solved! Thanks X-Trade. Just for reference for others, this is what I did. Turn off write protect setting 1. Shift + 8 key 2. Turn knob 1 left to OFF 3. I recently ordered midi to usb cable so that I can connect my microkorg to my laptop.
What do I do after that in order to record what I play on microkorg?
Do I need to buy some software to do that?

I purchased my very first electronic musical instrument and it's a padkontrol.

I got a brand new one for only 125 canadian today.

I am still struggling to sync it up with Ableton Live, but i'll get it done soon.

I'm also thinking about purchasing Microkorg XL later.
