I bought mine back in April this year and I haven't had any problems whatsoever.
I would say as long as you buy new, you should be ok because of the later manufacture date.

Mhh I want this! Ive just baught an M50 in Argentina...here we have a bad $ change...its almost 4 pesos 1 dollar...so the karma soft will cost 4 times more! terrible...but Im planning to buy it in the next months, Ive download a demo and its amazing... there are couple of great usb interfaces that are very affordable and very able for most jobs.
I currently use a Lexicon Lambda. It has lots of great features and works well for home recording. It doesn't break your pockets at under $200 USD.
