Yes, I am loading the patches in the keyboard and that's working.

I vaguely remember having software that could make the patch list for me.

Thanks Sam. Where would I find the basic data to edit the existing xml file? Alternatively, if I didn't use the special xml patch list, would all the patches show up in the Inspector with just bank and patch numbers, rather than patch name?

I could be missing something, but I cannot select user bank patches in Cubase. I loaded some pcg in the user banks. I can play them on the machine, but they don't show up in Cubase. I am using the Pa3x xml template.

Additional note on this....if you are only dealing only with Favs and Users, DO NOT turn off Factory Sound and Style Protect (under the Media Tab). This will avoid any unwanted/accidental erasure of Factory styles/banks.

Thanks much, Miden. I need this as I create some custom Fav&User banks using Korg PA Manager. If one of the custom banks is intentionally made empty, this software does not write anything, so the existing Pa3x contents remain - whereas I want an empty bank.

I have been trying to find the answer to this question but could not find it anywhere: Is it possible to create an empty style bank? Equivalently, how do I delete a style from a bank?

Issue solved!! I moved the Korg from the on-board USB port to a USB port on a PCI card. Everything now works fine. I am guessing it has something to do with the onboard USB 2 and 3, versus the PCI card's USB 1.1. The Korg host is also 1.1. For those of you who are not aware, note that moving a ...

I got a reply from Korg Canada which explained that Windows has difficulty recognizing more than about 10 devices. I know I have a lot of USBs connected, but will have to wait till I get home to check this.

Anyone with experience in this area, please let me know.

I have just determined that the problem (i.e., driver not recognized) occurs only when I power up the PA3x. If I simply unplug/replug the PA3x USB connector, the driver shows up.

I am using the PA3X with Cubase 8.5 on Win 7x64. The Korg USB driver seems to disappear whenever I startup, so I have no access to the PA3x. Also, when powering up the PA3x, I get a popup that says the USB device is not recognized. I don't really know if this is a driver problem, a Cubase problem or ...
