Thanks Native Angels for your suggestion to use songbook editor to merge sets from my Pa4X to my new PA700. I will do that the next time I'm getting my PA700 updated with more PA4X files.

New Korg PA700 Owner

After waiting for a Korg Pa1000 or Korg PA700, I decided to go for the PA700, because one became available. I do have a Korg PA4X, which of course has been fantastic, and don't plan to ever part with it. With gig work starting up again I decided to go for a lighter weighted arranger. I did have some ...

Bored, too!

It was interesting to see both your posts on boredom, because I, too, have been bored waiting for a PA1000. I have a 4X and don't plan to ever get rid of it, but do need a lighter weight arranger to use for gigs here in AZ when the centers I play at open up again. I appreciate your comment, Biggles ...

KORG PA1000 AVAILABILITY?

Does anyone know the reason why there are no PA 1000 Arrangers available from any dealers? Is there any word when they may become available again? Thank You

Soft case for PA4X 61 Recommendations

For the past number of years I have been using the Gator GKB-61 padded case for both my PA3X and now my PA4X. We did add a 3 inch thick piece of heavy duty foam the same size as the case opening, then my wife made a nice heavy duty piece of fabric to cover the entire piece of foam. After the ...

Is it worth it to still buy a PA4x

Hi, I debated a long time before deciding to buy a new PA4X. I've had my PA3X's for over seven years now and have used them for many many gigs so feel I will have the same experience with my new PA4X. I'm very impressed with everything about it. I've also downloaded some of my PA3X styles and they ...

PA4X MUSIC STAND

I, too, purchased a piece of 1/8 in plastic, larger than the original and cut it larger than the original, especially the width. I removed the original music rest and attached a length of double sided tape to the back of the music rest to hold it in place on the new music stand then drilled the two ...

Music Rack for PA-3x

Hi, My music rack failed approx 2 years ago so went online searching for a piece of acrylic with the correct thickness, which if I recall was approx 1/8" and bought a piece larger then the original size, then cut it to the size I wanted. I removed the music rest from the old music rack by undoing ...

PA SYSTEMS

Hi Derek,
I've been using the Bose L1 Compact for a few years now with my PA-3X and it's just worked great for me. It covers well for audiences up to 100. I've used mine for many gigs and it's never failed. The other benefit is it's light weight and easy to set up.

Thanks for the suggestions. The keyboard was checked out by a local Korg servicing company. The conclusion was the problem was pretty much created by the owner. The problem seems to be put to rest, now and all's well.

KORG PA-3X Rechargeable Battery Problem-again!

Has anyone had a problem with the rechargeable battery on recently new PA-3X's. I'm asking as a friend purchased a new PA-3X this past January. It came with apparently a defective battery as the standby button light was alternately flashing between green & red and the display indicated the battery ...

PA3X Key issue + Dead Battery

Hi, I wanted to let you know January 2014, a friend of mine purchased a new PA3X and it came with a dead battery, too. Same issue with the standby LED alternating between Green & Red. After sending the original PA3X back to the dealer, and receiving a second one, that, too had a bad battery! She ...

Humidity issue

Hi Pete, I don't have a problem with humidity here in Arizona, but did have a problem one time when my fingers got so sticky after using an alcohol based hand sanitizer. After the incident I wiped down the keys with a soft clean cotton cloth, then put a couple of drops of furniture polish on another ...

No EC5 Connector

I use the EC5 multiswitch pedal board a lot while playing for gigs on my PA-3X. I notice this is missing from the 900. Just wanted to add that comment in case that's one of your requirements for an arranger.
