M3 used

Get an M3 off Craigslist... that would be the better choice.

No Drum pads again.

No drum pads again like the Kronos ….. an M3 is a better bargain.

To be honest the Kronos is very nice but the lack of pads hurt. I have come to rely on the M3 pads for all sorts of musical exploration and their shear ease of use. I am currently buying an 88key M3 so I can have double the pads with that ease of use. I am going to put two rack module M3s next each ...

Here is a way to look at it. If it is from an analog synth like a Juno106 you can sample and redistribute it. If it is from a digital synth you cannot redistribute it but can use it personally without giving it away. You draw the line at synths like the M1 or the Wavestation. You can not ...

Korg dropped the ball by not putting pads on like the M3.

Oh well. You know I will figure something out. I should probably buy an extra M3 for parts and work on getting an Oasis to hold over until Korg makes another keyboard with them on it. They probably figured the cost of the pads would help to offset the cost of the SSD Drive. Also yes I am aware of ...

to claim that the Kronos touchscreen is "not accurate" when you've never even tried it is a bit of a stretch, don'tcha think?
Well I program TouchOSC interfaces so its not just the Kronos it is everything made right now from the ipad to the lemur, I am accurate about that judgment.

The Korg Z1 is a unique beast. I would recommend you buy a Z1 on the used market instead of the Kronos. You just cant go wrong with that synth. I also think the Korg Karma is a very underrated and misunderstood synth but well worth the money. Beware if you buy the Karma it will probably need the ...

But would others have done that? This is being marketed as a workstation class keyboard, but its missing a workstation class feature or more. I'm also going to laugh when you start beating on those screen pads and the screen itself fails. I bet you will wish you could have paid 150 more when that ...

To get this OASYS-like product down to these price points, Korg had to cut back on some of the hardware. It wouldn't surprise me if adding trigger pads might have added $150 to the retail price. Well I would have ordered the Kronos today for $150 more if it had rubber pads on it. I also wouldn't ...

whilst I can play an two-hand chord easily enough, I certainly can't if I'm playin two other keyboards.
I play an M3, Electribe Mx, microX, Apc40, and Z1 for my live shows and yes that is another great reason for the pads.

But why do you need to tell the whole world about it on the internet? Because I hope Korg includes those in future keyboards and I'm sure they read the forum. I also believe that many other people will agree with me. To be honest, I have hoped that they would put 16 pads on at a slightly smaller ...

I had hoped that when KRONOS was finally unveiled that it would be a beautiful, groundbreaking instrument. To be honest though I feel that it is a little disappointing and shrouded in controversy. Yup, I agree. The ground breaking synth however is the one in your avatar pic .... the Korg Karma and ...

8 rubber pads are going to be the deal breaker?
Yup. I consider it a deal breaker. I use them on a daily basis and if they are not on the keyboard I wont buy it.
