My pads are as follows -
The top row, top edge is slightly above chassis. Prob around 0.25mm-0.5mm above.
Pads seem to sit parallel to base/table unit is sitting on.
As unit face plate is angled down this means that the bottom row, bottom edge is around 2mm above chassis.

Just being able to link 2 or more patterns would solve this. eg- Load up pattern 1, which is preset to auto link pattern 1,2,3 and 4. You now have 16 bars without having to manually change every 4. This woudnt take that much effort on korgs part. That would be a great solution! Not that I mind the ...

Even something like this would work wonders- 1. Go to keyboard mode and find the note you wish to sequence. 2. Hold this note at the same time as changing to sequencer mode. 3. Now any steps within the sequencer mode you press would be using that note. 4. Now go back to keyboard mode and repeat with ...

This is spoonfeeding, but you need to hit menu and scroll to "step Editor". The other alternative is to hit record and play and play the notes in. The step editor could be a lot better, my theory is Korg wants you to play in the notes so it's more musical or live or something. One hint for working ...

E2 - Step sequencing but with different notes/keys
How do you use the sequencer(step) but also using different notes on keyboard.
I'd like to choose different notes when in sequencer mode.

Just made me think would the E2 be able to sequence a synth then? Use E2 to send all the notes to a synth. And if so could it be mulit part synth, ie Bass on 1 midi channel, lead on another. At some point i want to get a synth to add to my setup but would be great to not to have to use Ableton live ...
