You can boot the M3 in storage mode to see if your pc can recognize it. Be sure that the M3 is connected to the pc with USB. Then press and hold both SEQ and EXIT and while holding them turn the power on. At that point the pc should see the M3's SD card as a USB storage device. Oh wow, i had no ...

First of all, i assume that this unit is out of warranty and that you are willing to fix this yourself. If you still have warranty on this unit or want to pay money to get this fixed please do so. However, if you send this to a music shop i guarantee you that you will pay quite some money for ...

You Sir are a Star!

It had the 4 RADIAS Parts defaulted to Track 1-4 so this totally solved the issue and on top of that taught me how to define the 4 RADIAS Parts in SEQ Mode.

Thank you very much!

SEQ: I need a little help real quick

Ok this is totally a case of RTFM and GIYF but I'm in a really good flow right now and don't wanna lose it to some research. I'm sitting here in SEQ mode, arranging a new song and for some reason any RADIAS PROG is not producing any sounds when i play the Part. I can confirm that i have selected the ...

The standard has changed over time and will likely continue to change. Read the wiki about Pitch Inflation. Thanks for that link. That's an article i otherwise wouldn't have found on wikipedia. So it's off to google to sort through the conspiracy theories, the sonic pureness of 432 vs the speed of ...

Congrats on your new EXB-Radias :D Thanks and you were totally right about the EXB-Radias... the M3 really feels "complete" with this board (and my favorite samples loaded). I think all 2.1 does is fix a bug regarding virtual patch routing where you could only use slots 1-6 and not 7 and 8. Thanks ...

Update: So after some hunting and negotiation i was able to score a board for 250,- € and it still has warranty on it! 8) Question while i'm at it: Would you guys stick with the "officially downloadable" EXB-RADIAS Version 2.0 Update or would you guys use the "official but not downloadable" EXB-R ...

I would still go to a Store and test the Studiologic Keyboards.

It's still your best bid.

Check out Controller Keyboards made by Studiologic. They use Fatar Keys which have also been used in the OASYS (afaik) and i'm pretty sure that RH3 from the M3-88 is "based" on a Fatar Design. Look for the Studiologic SL-990 Pro if you want to save money and only need MIDI. If you need more control ...

Why do you want to get rid of it? Is it a matter of principle? Anti-DRM?

I'm not going to say that either one sounds worse or better in general because - as Bald Eagle said - sound is a subjective thing but i do want to point out that the M3 can use up to 320MB of Sample Memory and within this limitation can sound pretty much anything you like... It's not only a rompler ...

So I have a couple of netbooks that are collecting dust and I might just put each one on a separate netbook and dedicate them to the Kronos & M3. But I haven't re-checked the minimum requirements for that software and don't know if the little atoms can handle it. Here are the minimum specs: Intel ...

Re: Let's talk EXB-Radias

1. Seeing how this board retailed for 399,- at the end, what would be a appropriate second-hand price? I would take one at that price. See #2 Ok wow, i've obviously underestimated the second-hand situation! I've seen several offers between 270,- and 320,- so i better get this going asap! 2. Do you ...
