Yep turned on all key syncs! also midi temp sync. Mind you the R3 doesn't have to be cabled up to cubase to notice a fraction delay when tapping the keys. I remember I had the same problem with my R3 connected to Cubase 4. What your discribing is like depending on what piece of software you load up first, it will nick the driver say for cubase and therefore when you load up R3 editor, it won't connect as the driver is already in use with another app ...

Not sure how you connect your keyboard/keyboards to your computer! I use the USB cable to control all the midi functions. I ran in to problems early on in the installation but over come it.
