@Bald Eagle - I agree, and if I didn't also have a Kronos in the same room I absolutely wouldn't think of putting her away but I really need the space for another board...different flavors and all that.

Yeah, I hear ya... And that is why she will probably sit dormant and well-protected for a couple of decades until I bring her back out, swap in the replacement motherboard, pop in a new CMOS battery, replace the drive with the imaged backup drive, and try again.

Thanks anyway for looking!

OASYS 76 - Any interest in buy or trade?

I have posted in the Buy&Sell section trying to gauge any serious interest in my OASYS 76 for sale/trade/combination. I apologize if cross-posting is poor form but I'm hoping a link here in the OASYS section is considered OK: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=635724#635724 ...

OASYS 76 - Any interest in buy or trade?

Trying to gauge interest...I have an OASYS 76 SN 000213 in essentially mint condition and fully expanded (except the EXB-DI option). I have the original manuals, disks and box. She has spent her life in a non-smoking environment, covered when not in use, has never been gigged or abused in the ...

For me, when I'm playing 80s covers, the only way to do it right is to have all the sounds layered and ready. Then if someone doesn't want to play certain part(s), it's his/her choice what not to play. Couldn't agree more... Lots of work to set everything up "right" but it ultimately pays off! Take ...

Take people back to the programming blackboard. ozy - there is a demand for both methods, I think! There are always people who don't have the time or desire to program sounds and want to buy ready-made ones, but there are also people who do have the time and desire but maybe not enough knowledge or ...

...But that wouldn't/couldn't stop Korg from retro-fitting our Oasys with SSD instead of a HD. ... I am seriously considering doing this type of a transplant. IDE PATA SSD drives that would work with the OASYS are available, and a 32Gb unit isn't outrageously expensive ( <$100 USD). I'm still in ...

Just bought PC3K8 a couple of weeks ago :) Sweet! Been thinking about it ever since I heard about it, but I have decided (well, my budget has decided) to hold off until their next gen finally rears its head. I have a feeling that it will elicit the same kind of response as the OASYS did when it ...

Yeah, I certainly have babied my O as well, but as an IT guy myself I just know how things go... I wish I had the same amount of confidence in the O hardware as I do in my Kurzweil K2600 :)
