Thanks JJ
I have one of those for my Sv1 and Sk1 set up. It’s a bit wide when I set it up low enough. Perhaps I’ll add th plank on top.

Stand for the microStation

What are people using for a stand when playing somewhere rather on a desk or table top? I’m playing sitting down right now (in a wheelchair temporarily) and find a normal X stand is too wide when I make it low enough to play sitting down. I guess I could get a piece of wood for a platform on the top, ...

Re: What genre you are using Microstation?

I just picked one up because I hurt my back an can't use my full sized keys for a few months. The microStation is perfect on a tv table from my wheelchair. I play mostly electric piano and organ in Soul/R&B, and the sounds in this are better than I anticipated. I've ordered the B3 patch from ...

Re: Microstation Editor Not Launching. MacOS X

I just picked up a used microStation this week. Having fun with it, but I discovered the editor won't work on the latest Mac OS. I have an older macBook, that I downgraded it to Sierra 10.12.6 and it works. Sierra (NOT HIGH SIERRA) seems to be that last OS that the editor works on. Similar problem ...

M-Audio EX-P expression pedal not working

Help Please! I'm trying to set up an M-Audio EX-P expression pedal as a volume pedal in the pedal 2 jack. I've plugged it in and calibrated it but it has no effect. (I've tried both polarity settings too) Do I need to set a midi parameter or something? Is it not compatible? What expression pedal ...

Midi controller - Keyboard layering/splitting question

Newbie question here. I'm loving my SV-1, especially the electric pianos. So nice to not have to drag around my Rhodes to rehearsals and gigs. Loving the organ stuff too, but it just feels strange playing an organ solo on electric piano keys. A few glissandos in a solo and blood can be drawn. So ...

I think they bypass the FX. I plug my MP3 player into my SV1 and the FX do not change the sound. Same here. I was hoping there might be a cheat through the software editing to do this. Too Bad. I wonder if it's something that could be addressed in a future software update. It could present some ...

Input Question

I have a question about the inputs on the back of the Korg SV-1. Do they simply pass through to the instruments output or is it possible to loop it through the SV-1's effects and/or amp simulations. You can see why I'm intrigued by the possibilities. Kinda like patching through an old modular ...
