I use a Yamaha FC-1 expression pedal. I love it. It's great for the vox wah because you can control the wah and it works like a guitar wah pedal, and when vox wah is not selected it just works as a volume pedal so you can easily control the volume which is especially handy with the original organ ...

Ya beauty!!!! I finally got it working after about 2 years of trying. For anyone else having problems the only thing I tried differently this time was downloading and installing this version of java: http://download.cnet.com/Java-Runtime-Environment-JRE/3000-2378_4-10009607.html then I connected SV ...

I still cant get the editor to work. I tried it for months but gave up 2 years ago then seen this thread and thought I'd try again but its now 2 hours later and still no joy. I've tried uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling. I think the problem is loading the OS1.2. when I try I get a message ...

Is the Vox Continental (original sounds) a click organ?

I've had my SV-1 for over a year and I love it apart from not being able to get the new sound packs. It's got a solid flight case but took 1 knock when a crap studio kb stand collapsed during a rehearsal. Never experienced any problems but one thing I have noticed is that the Vox Organ sound (organ ...

Cheers mate.
I managed to open the disk management when I tried it last, but no new drives appeared.
I'll give it another shot tonight.
Thanks again.

I still can't get this to work. :x
I followed your instructions above, Tony, but I just can't get the OS to load.
Did you use USB-USB cable or MIDI-USB or both connected at the same time to load the OS?
Should it matter which cable is used?
(I'm using Windows 7 64-bit)

As far as I'm aware, the whole piano is valve powered so if that goes, I doubt you would even be able to switch it on, let alone play some of the sounds.

AM I GOING MAD?

When I've been playing, I've been noticing some of the lights flashing on for a millisecond out of the corner of my eye. (For example, if the 'intensity' is set to 3, the 8 might flash for a fraction of a second, not as brightly as the one which is selected but enough to notice). Now I've usually ...

Are you using an expression pedal?
I just got a Yamaha FC-7 pedal for it, I think the wah sounds great when you can properly control it with a pedal.

I paid just under £300 (including delivery) for a hard case with wheels-good job I got the wheels as it's really heavy with the piano inside. It's a brilliant case but it was from a company in England (flight case company) so I think the postage to NJ would probably cost the same as the case, but if ...

I have noticed a clicking noise with every key but it only happens with one of the organ sounds (can't remember which one) but its my least fav organ sound so I don't use it.

We sell SV-1's in my work and the Korg rep gave us a set of 'Samson Resolv A6' speakers to use with the them. They're brilliant speakers but he said they would probably retail at around £350+
I've not tried the Warfadale ones though, so I don't know how they'd compare.

Hello, I'm David from Glasgow. Been a sax player for about 14 years, and self taught guitar/keyboard player for about 7/8 years but gonna start jazz piano lessons. Got an SV-1 88 key - absolutely love it. Only thing I need is some good speakers. I was playing it through a guitar amp which is ok but ...

Hi, I'm having the same problem as the guy who started the thread - My SV-1 connects to the editor, but just shows the backup page with no sounds loaded on. I've tried deleting the "wdmaud.drv" MIDI files, (didn't work) so I tried delting all "wdmaud.drv" files (no change) and I've uninstalled and ...

The RH3 action is the closest to an acoustic piano I've tried. I thought the Rolands had some great sounds but a very poor action. I work in a shop which sells digital pianos and tend to find that most people who learned on acoustic pianos love the RH3 keybed, but alot of people who grew up playing ...
