I have had a Triton Extreme 88 for a while now... I am thinking of selling it on ebay and buying the Kronos 2 88

Am I going to be blown away?

It's not a huge amount of noise, but it's quite annoying. It's not every key either.

I don't mind the 'thumps' so much...

is there an easy way to fix the creaking springs on the keys on my 88?

My beloved TEX88 has keys which squeak slightly. Anyone know if I can fix this myself? (I am quite handy with a screwdriver).

I get this same thing happen, but only when the TEX is connected to my Mac via a USB MIDI interface (UA-25). If I unplug the MIDI from the back of the TEX, I never get a problem.

I had a Roland pedal, and it made my Triton behave very erratically:

The Roland pedal is NOT compatible. It screws up the MIDI on your Triton (in that you cannot change programs while the pedal is attached).

I want to connect a dual pedal to my TEX, and configure the board to work like a real piano (una corda on the left and sustain on the right). Should I just buy two Korg DS-1H damper pedals? If so, where should I plug them in, and how should I configure them and the TEX?

Yes you can.

dunno about amps, but for headphones, DT100s take some beating.

I think Yabs means that he wants to switch programs and/or combis with just one button press.

Yes you can do this easily, and you can have as many different ones as you want (up to about 1500 I think).
