organ to pair
I own the Hammond SK1 and love it,I have also owned and gigged with the Electro 3. Either board is good,but the Hammond has a better leslie and better bottom end for bass

SV! or Nord?
I have owned Nords and gigged with the Electros for a few years.Yes it is a fine board and an even a finer company,but it doesn't move me like the SV1! The ep's and the fx section on the SV1 blow the Nord away.I feel like I am playing a real instrument on the SV! ,which is a feeling I don't get with ...

where do these SV1 samples come from?
Wondering where these samples are taken from, and if they are say from the M3 keyboard, does the architecture of the SV1 with it's effects processor and signal path change the sound any as compared to the original?

thanks davidt,Looks like sound pack 2 is the first time Korg gave you more than the 36 patches ,with all new sounds in the favourites section,instead of doubles. I guess Korg added the bass splits last and had no other place to put them .Good news is with the editor you can move any sound anywhere ...

SV1 or M3?
I don't own the SV1...yet. Just wondered what the SV1 has different than say the same sounds on a m3or m50.Is the effects processor the same?Are the samples the same?Is the string res,or pedal off samples,real fx control also available on the M3? Any help is appreciated, Thanks,a newbie wannabe!
