Hope the future is better than that YouTube clip

I expected to see a clip showing the various synths from the first to the Kronos, not a 16 sec clip just saying 50 years.

Not even a bit of text at the end teasing us about what 2013 might bring

Do you know the movie: Christmas Vacation (Clark ''Mark Frank'' Griswold)? His father said the famous sentence: (...) a little lights are not twinkling (...). You know, what I mean?

I thought last year was KORG's 50th, but it turns out their first release was in 1963, even though the KORG team began in a factory in 1962.
There's a nice article series on KORG's 40th at SoundOnSound with a more comprehensive overview of the various instruments KORG built.

Yes. The company's first product released in 1963, called the Disc Rotary Electric Auto Rhythm Machine DONCA MATIC DA-20.

Congratulations to Korg and to everyone working for them past and present. I hope 2013 is a good year for Korg and that you have another 50 successful years ahead.

I'm assuming that video clip is like thier count down to NAMM lol.

I speculate that something big in the form of a synthesizer is coming lol

They have to give something to mark the big Five O....

Congratulations to Korg for 50 years of instrument making! They have indeed broken new ground several times and no doubt will again.

They're bound to bring out something to mark the anniversary - a Trident 50 perhaps? :)
