On Pa3x and Pa1000, if I save style while var1 active, recalling the style later will remember it, this is not the case with Pa5x. No matter what, it always revert to the last variation from the previous style. Is there some setting I'm not aware of?

So I have exported on of the styles that has guitar mode as midi, and opened in Cakewalk. The issue is guitar track does not sound anything like it when playing back and using pa4x as midi output device. All other tracks are fine. Is there anything else that needs to be done? Is there an easier way to assign the same patch for all variations when in style record mode? For example if I want to change different guitar patch, I need to do it manually for every single variation and pres record for a second or two in order for changes to take place. Im aware that I can do it ...

When changing style in pa1000, variations number always remains the same. It gets carried from from the previous style. In Pa3x thats not the case, each style could start from any var or intro, but I cant seem to get this to work in pa1000.
