Pedal problem

My DS-1H damper pedal has started to give me problems. It's continuing to sustain when I release the pedal. I opened it up and used air, then lube, on it, but neither worked. There's nothing obviously wrong with it mechanically, so it looks like it's an electronic issue. Is it likely to be possible ...

Has the Kronos/OASYS improved your keyboard chops?
It's early days at the moment, but I'm not expecting the Kronos to improve my chops significantly. It is forcing me to learn a lot about synthesis and MIDI very quickly though.

I had intending to take an unboxing video when my 61 arrived, but when it came to it, I just wanted to get it set up and play it as quick as possible.

'll add my own wish for the set list feature. I'd love to see the long text description that is shown under the program name in each set list entry get it's own tab and be shown in a large font. With this option, you'd be able to make "cheat sheet" notes or reminders about the patch, or have a ...

Re: Using Combination

I just got a Kronos 88 keys workstation, and need help in using combination and Karma. I have been looking around for factory built combination, but was wondering HOW TO CREATE SOMETHING LIKE THAT BY OUR OWN? That's a very broad question - it's a series of tutorials you need, not a reply on a forum.

There's exactly one Continuum function missing - third dimension. You are 100% correct...however, on Sample/Morph-wiz they have developed what I will call a "wiggle" parameter, which is essentially the equivalent (sort of) of the pressure on the Continuum. There's also the assignable tilt on ...

Seller says "I will allow local pick up. You must pay through Paypal first to pick it up". Why is seller prepared to pay PayPal fees if you are going to collect? Why not cash on delivery? Also, I don't think PayPal will cough up that sort of money easily. Collection + Paypal only = scam

That's working well but (as a great man used to say) there is just one more thing. Is there a way to apply the damper pedal of the Kronos to that timbre, ie to the piano that is controlled by the second keyboard? It looks to me like it should work (what looks like the appropriate box is checked ...

MIDI Question

I'm wanting to have a second keyboard control only piano sounds on my Kronos, while I use the Kronos itself to play pads and strings. My experience of MIDI is minimal - I know this is pretty basic stuff, but it's still more than I've done before. Can anybody tell me what settings to use for a combo ...

Bear in mind that just because they only got four, it doesn't mean they only ordered four. I've been hearing for a couple of months now that initial supplies would be limited, and that there could be quite a wait for the second batch. At the time, I wondered if it was just a scare tactic to get the ...

The main reason why people have got it cheaper is that the US shops do not mention the price of $3000 on the shipping package but maybe half. So you only pay half of import and half of tax. I'd rather pay the extra tax than import and be dependent on the US seller committing tax fraud to get a good ...

What on earth would he trigger on SampleWiz that he couldn't map to a key on the Kronos and stream it from there? I've done very little in the way of sampling, and none at all on the Kronos so far, so I don't really know what the Kronos is capable of. I don't know if it can do everything SampleWiz ...
