Seems to me you can set up 10 basic splits/layers in set list and label them for a good view Still you have to take note of the two programs to use, (otherwise there's no way to find them quickly), assign them, copy effects from first program, copy effects from second program and change the routing ...

There are NO significant differences between Kronos upgraded, Kronos X and Kronos 2. Some aesthetic and some minor internal hardware differences, they sound the same. Kronos 2 has Berlin Piano (EXs17), EXs18 and KRS-07; these expansion are included in the "New Kronos Sound Pack", available at 249 ...

Actually muting does seem like a good option. Of course then there would have to be a way to handle half damping too. But still, perhaps that's something that can be done in a version 3.1 or something. I hope so, string resonance is really good sounding, too bad that it's completely disactivated ...

Right, that's probably a limitation because the damper resonance is sample based. At least I think it is. There would be no (easy?) way to go from a sample of full keyboard resonance to single key resonance if the first is a sample. Maybe, but other digital piano's do it. and there are ways not too ...

yes, its gorgeous, good improvement, thanks a lot korg... BUT its far from perfection, and my hears instantly recognized a flaw :( it conflict with damper resonance. I explain that string resonance is treated differently from damper resonance, when you press damper damper resonance takes place, so ...

Re: New Kronos Processor and OS
Hi! I have the original Kronos and I am about updating its OS to V3. But…! Does the new Kronos which is shipped of course with the v3 installed, has a better processor, with better onboard graphics etc? I am afraid that the previous model may be struggling to operate flawlessly. You don't have to b ...

I agree with difficulties of programming Kronos. It's a deep beast, engines are very complex, but I think that the flow to build a sound should be more linear. Expecially on modulations. I have a Waldorf blofeld, that as VA is quite more deep than AL-1, but, with only 6 knobs and a little non touch ...
