Play Cajun Music On Kronos?

The Sounds of Planet Accordions sound excellent on quaint European tunes, in their demo samplings. This got me to thinking about including Cajun-styled songs in my Set List. Have any of you Kronos wizzes used your Kronos to simulate an accordion in your performances? Can you upload and share an ...

Great Idea!! Just wish you were nearer.

I live just out of San Francisco - so it wouldn't be easy to drop by. But it is tempting to think of flying down to your magical country and meeting up with with all you Kronosheads.

KARMA Drum Question

Calling You KARMA Experts Out There: I have had a lot of fun tweaking the KARMA programs used in the original Combis that came on the Kronos. In the process, I have discovered that certain drum timbres play rhythms AND are "live" on the keyboard. When this happens I get the rhythm pattern PLUS the ...

There're 2 different places you can set this. In Program Mode, EXi>Basic>Controllers>Pitch Bend - set to zero. If you save the program that way, it'll carry over to the combi. In Combi, you can over-ride the bend range of a program in Timber Parameter>Pitch>Bend Range. Instead of PRG which is the ...

Pouyakhoshgoo you have a leg up in me! This was my first synth anything! This board is not for the lazy it takes work to learn especially coming at it as a first board! After a year I still haven't left the beginner stages but it is now fun and I can tweak sounds, make my own sounds, set up combis ...

Of Course You're Right but . . .

I've actually got my damper pedal to trigger the Leslie . . . . and organs don't usually have sustain pedal! You are right about this but it turns out using sustain on the organ when in unison with pianos and other sounds in Combis can sound good. It takes the staccato effect away. The same ...

. . . BTW, with the new 2.1 CX-3 engine it's possible to change it so that the pitch bend joy stick can more mimic the traditional half moon switch. Instead of up/down you're using left right. To make this change go to: EXi1==>AMP/VC/ROTARY SP==>ROTARY SPEAKER -At the top right you'll see a SPEED ...

Pitch Bend Joystick Issue/Question

How do I turn off the "Pitch Bend" aspect of the Joy Stick when using it as a Leslie switch? When I reach over to flip the Joy Stick from Rotary Spkr/SLOW to Rotary Spkr/FAST I frequently hit the Joy Stick on the X axis causing the CX-3 pitch to bend. This is not acceptable. Can anyone tell me ...

KARMA Question . . .

KARMA is really cool and flexible! Through experimentation, I've learned that each KARMA Scene button can have different varieties of instruments triggered by the drum tracks to provide for strumming guitars and rhythmic bass patterns, plus bongos, cymbals, triangles, etc. BUT- Does KARMA provide ...

How Do You Control KARMA With A Pedal?

I am really liking Karma! The diversity and flexibility it offers is awesome! With a little practice and patience, I have tweaked a whole bunch of KARMA equipped Combis. Question: How can I Start and Stop and then re-Start KARMA - using a switch pedal? Right now I'm reaching over with my left hand ...

Re: Have You Explored KARMA Combis? Do You Use KARMA?

The effort resulted in a distilled list of well over 130 really interesting and useful programs. ..... I'd love to see your list of the 130, I have some favorites, and I hope to get over the learning curve with the software. timg11 What I did was review each KARMA preset by pressing the scenes ...

Re: Kronos in action

I'm playing my Kronos using one of the new CX3 patches Hush1 and also trumpet. Hope you enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpFr8vD0keY Really sounds good! Tight. Effective Hammond sound. How do you like the new 2.1 internal rotary speaker sound through the mixer? So, Clarkeo you've got a trumpet ...
