My first recording with the R3

It's the background music on my church website's home page. I'm using the R3's vocoder and the TR61 for everything else. Check it out (and also our church...LOL)

The Programs you've listed are factory presets so you should still have them:

Dance Lead - A042
Velo Whirly - B033
Killer B - D023

Hey guys, I'm a R3 owner and I thought I'd post it here since it sort of involves both machines... I'm trying to recreate a quite simple sound (I'm guessing it's a preset on the MK XL?) on the R3... it's heard on this video at exactly 1:28 onwards: http://www.sonicstate.com/news/2009/03/06/sonic ...

Well, I finally spent some time getting to know my R3. It's really cool. I loaded up many of the R3 libraries that are available here and they sound good, including xmlguy's Hypervoc. I have more sounds than I can handle. I'm going to have to spend some time tweaking sounds to develop new ones. Kimu ...

Hello. Vibedog has offered some good suggestions. Another inexpensive option is to get a good ol' drum machine. You can get them pretty cheap these days. There's been a shift from drum machines over the years but I still use mine from time to time... 8)

i just went through this myself and got an R3 at gc and discovered the same lower store price than the webstore price mentioned above. If someone has a pic or part number for a battery pack add on for the R3 I'd appreciate it- that was the main reason I was considering the xl. I wound up choosing ...

Thanks for the compliments. I used the TR too for the drums on Inspiration. I really wanted to do live drums on that one but no room for a kit at home. It was either a couch or a drum set. If I were single, it'd be a different story.. I like "Ignorance" too. I recognize many of the sounds. I ...

Hello fellow Soundclicker. I like this, nice groove. What are you using for the drums, if I may ask? If you added some kind of spoken word over this music (poetry or even a rap), I think that would work well.

Not your everyday Christian music

Hello all, I posted here about three years ago when I first started working on my Urban Gospel music project. Well, much has happened since then and I'm still working on it. Here's my soundclick page which has everything that I've released so far. All of these songs were recorded with only the Korg ...

Nice!

Well. I couldn't wait so I picked up my R3 last night. I printed out the Musician's Friend page and took it to Guitar Center for the price guarantee and lo and behold, it's already priced at $549. I wonder why it's still $599 online? Anyway..I played around with it a little bit last night. This is ...

Cool, thanks for the info. The R3 it is. Guitar Center and Sweetwater both sell it for $599. I just found it at Musician's Friend for $549. Thanks for the head's up. You've saved me $50... 8) After you get it, give my HyperVoc patch a try to get a clean vocode for live use. The R3 is a ton of fun ...
