It's not the OS, it's your macbook, it's a PowerPC mac, and it only supports Intel macs, so unfortunately it's in no way possible on your mac.

You should update on another computer, that's the only way

If you want to control effects or other things in FLStudio you can just hook up the KP3 into your computer's USB and it can send MIDI data to control your effects/synths/whatever in FL. Maybe you could buy an Akai MPD16 or something?
You can easily program the pads to make program changes on another unit.
It's a lot cheaper, even less then 100 euro's I think and it does what it has to.
