Here is a link to a bunch of waveforms:

From Kristoffer Ekstrand aka Adventure Kid.

Lots of great stuff in there. Not all tuned to C, however, if I remember right.

Thanks Kristoffer.

I've got a smart media ESX-1, I'm learning on it, it's barely used, really. The dial started skipping last week. It makes me nervous.

But, yeah, that's the only issue with my machine, nothing like is described in that thread on the EMX.

Hey ProfessorNick, Thanks for those tips. Here's one I haven't seen posted anywhere. I might post it at the other Electribe forum. Post it on your blog if you want, could be useful. If you want to have more than two melodic parts per pattern: Load a pitched sound to a drum or stretch pad. Light some ...

kp3 editor question

Hi all, I got a new kp3. I have a desktop running XP. I want to install the 2.0 update for the kp3. Do I need to install Korg usb drivers first? What if I already have Korg usb drivers installed from my Nanopad? The 2.0 update is only compatible with the newest kp3 editor. But the newest editor is ...

I got my KP3. I know I am at least five years behind the times, but my first impressions are... It's well built but I fear the 3 knobs and the fader are going to break. They look like they came off an Easy Bake Oven. I wish they were rubbery. Sounds good. The reverbs are still pretty bad but I have ...

Thanks for the information and pics. I worry about stuff like this because I am not good at repairs.
Congratulations on fixing it. I hope I can keep my esx running for a long long time.

I'll try it on thr main outs of course, but I was thinking mostly for outs 3 & 4. In that configuration I imagine the sound quality will be as good or better than the built in fx. What do you think?

Hi Kinyo, you actually need to change the channel on your midi keyboard. I use a MicroX to do this and it's quite simple. By default channel 1 controls synth1 on the EMX but if you change it to channel 2 it will control synth2 and so on. I hope that helps. Cheers, Matt You might be right, it would ...

It sounds like you need to change the MIDI channel in the EMX. Your Yamaha sends MIDI data out on MIDI channel 1. The EMX has different parts on different MIDI channels. Press the MIDI key, scroll to MIDI ch, press the key for the part you want to sound, change the channel to 1. I don't have the EMX ...
