My first M50 warblings

I've just put my first two M50 tracks up to Soundcloud. Both are recorded live using internal combi's. More of a jamming session than anything - the odd timing issue and bum note. The recordings were made using audacity via my wifes laptop so fairly noisy too. If anyone has any suggestions on a ...

...think i resolved this. It seems that the filter setting before i hit record/start was not maintained. If i hit record/start then adjust the real time ctrl knobs to my desired start setting during the 2 bar count in then everything works fine. I wasnt expecting it to behave that way but I got the ...

Recording filter cut off changes in sequencer

I was under the impression that the real time control knob changes would be accepted when recording in the sequencer? I'm using combi B083:Warm Wind Pad which has been copied to the sequencer. I'm playing a single note in the lowest octave and want to record my filter changes (i'm trying to create a ...

Could it be that your mic/line in input levels are too high and your getting clipping?. On a similar note I've been trying to record on to my laptop from my m50 by using the USB output of my RPM 3 studio monitors. Even with the input levels reduced I'm getting a lot of noise and echoey ring mod ...

Before your hubby flys off to ebay and picks you up a Roland for this Christmas.... did that advice actually work for you, lped? I think the synth sounds you are refering to might possibly be some of the mono lead patches (threw me for moment when I first unboxed) so wouldn't have thought you had an ...

It does seem to be an M50 with a deluxe piano and updated touch screen/sequencer.... and added robustness for gigging. If this can be considered the replacement M50, then what will the options be for the replacement M3? Is there room in the market for a £1000-2500 range synth? Keeping with the 'K' ...

I guess if you are in the market for an M50 and they get the right price point then its a nice buy. I know outside of resale they are hard to get hold of now. I got a mail from korg uk saying the m50 61 is discontinued and that when stocks of the 73's and 88's run out, those will be discontinued ...

I figured it had to be an M50/Microstation teir product. Be interesting what happens in the M3 area though. Doesnt seem to completely bridge the gap to Kronos but has as been said already, its a packed market. Good to see they haven't dropped the ball on styling too :) I've not seen the video as i'm ...

With both the m50 and microstation discontinued (barring unsold residual stock) my money is is on a multi synth launch. It could be quite exciting news but having just bought my m50 i'm hoping its not TOO exciting :)

Pattern/RPPR page -> Pattern Edit tab -> drop-down menu -> "Pattern Parameter" command . Man i so love RPPR. Hi :) hope you dont mind me posting my own introduction in your post john. Your comments on the oasys resonated. It took me 3 and a half years to choose a new synth. I was toying with the idea of getting an m3 but... Do people really like those wooden panels? The kronos is technicaly awesome but ...
