Is there a decent midi sequencer in Android?

Try connecting microstion to different usb (one it hasn't been connected to)

Was my first good go at patch, quite happy how it turned out

Lol why I wasn't sure what you meant, korgman knows his stuff and his patches are great. Recommend them if you get one

Ðefinatly adjust/make your own sounds from building blocks like saw waves, piano samples etc (that are built in) lookup korg patches. I did dakota one. Not sure what your asking about modulation

Gate noise? Are you meaning the ground loop thing

That's one thing you can't do, can use it to trigger another device (vst pluggin, synth) but you don't have the capability to load samples into it

Aftertouch can be set to a few things (with keyboard that has it on you press after already hit keys, guess why its called aftertouch) can do similar things with the joystick and setting what it does, isnr deal breaker. I love mine. Can't stress enough korgmans patches

is a great sounding synth, my friend has an triton classic..he was shocked that mine could keep up soundwise....he doesnt like the mini keys... (triton keys are nice..but full size) but loved that mine is adjustable via pc usb, it does have limitations no key aftertouch. Onboard sequencer is ok but ...

just don't record the audio till happy. In end is external instrument not a soft synth. Once recorded midi track can always edit, quantise etc. Like a vst, monitor audio till happy then, record audio part (re record if needed)

Sorry don't own padkontrol but knew lot of people struggle with initial midi connecting. Is the padkontrol usb, if so have you loaded the usb driver as well as the editor(check if new version on korg site) if so try connecting to another usb socket (does comp recognise?)

Ah there is your problem, the usb on microstation doesn't carry audio. Have to connect seperate audio leads from audio back of MS to soundcard.
