Well I finally sold it!!!
I haven't been using all my gear for a while now and have had to consolidate what I have (space) + I found I've been preset surfing too much and not getting any truly original sounds out for a while. Too many synths = lost productivity (at least for me). Which one to sell??. It was going to be a ...

Re: TRINITY / WAVESTATION PRG on M3
Do you think that korg will produce a PRG set taking inspiration from glorious Korg TRINITY and WAVESTATION? :soundsgood Trinity--->Perhaps Wavestation--->Unlikely, such a different architecture the WS was effectively a 4 OSC synth with vector synthesis. Even OASYS can't truly emulate the WS ...

I have both and use both. The RADIAS and Virus TI complement each other very well. In fact, as times gone by, I find myself appreciating the RADIAS more and more. It will come down to what you want/do. If you want classic Vintage sounds then the Virus has the RADIAS beat. However, if you create your ...

I have followed the Omnisphere's development with interest, but there is one major drawback that is a turn-off for me. When they release it, a whole bunch of people will peculiarly begin sounding very similar. I love the work they have done, and their sound design processes are very inspirational ...

I'm gonna tell you this much right now. I had a chance a few months back to play with an M3 for a few weeks because my friend wanted to see how the two compared, sonically. I was really curious myself as I was dying to get my hands on the M3 and if all the hype was really true about it as they were ...

It depends on what you need. The OASYS can't do everything well. The sounds are the best but the Sequencer is the worst. It is still a Workstation aimed at people that want all in one solutions. But...there are very few people here that just own an OASYS, they also have other gear. After a lot of ...

Re: Wave sweeps, are they possible?
The M3 is TREMENDOUSLY scaled down from that of the OASYS Yeah, especially the sequencer. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d26/WorkingAtPerfekt/hysterical.gif The Sequencer is a different story. But I didn't buy it for its Sequencer, and I've looked elsewhere to obtain that functionality. The M3 ...

Is LC for Mac Universal Binary?
Is the latest version of the Legacy Collection (Digital Edition) a universal Binary? As I understand it, PPC binaries won't run in an Intel hosted app. I.e. PPC VSTs won't run within an Intel based DAW. I ask this cause I can't run the Demo version (which is the older 1.1 PCC version) as a VST ...

Just to add some confusion to this topic...I upgraded to Leopard and the RADIAS Editor V2 works fine. I.e. Ports are remembered after quitting, rebooting and restarting the app. M3 Editor seems OK too. Actually, the M3 Editor scans all available MIDI ports for the M3 (if I started it after OSX).
