The speakers of both the ek-50 and the ek-50L are ten watts each actually but the L produces more sound pressure according to Korg. These are perhaps the weirdest keyboard upgrades I’ve ever “heard” of , ten new styles, a few sounds and redesigned speakers of the same wattage as its predecessor.

The 50L. Is nearly identical to the EK-50. Added a few instruments and ten dance styles. This seems like an odd addition?

I got my EK 50 on Christmas and have been having an absolute blast playing it! Mine came updated so I have dug up four flash drives and been downloading styles in little groups to those. But damn , there are tons of good things that came loaded also. Keyboarding is great fun again, thanks Korg!

Perhaps it could be added in a future software update, I’m not sure if that could be possible even?

Use synchro start for the beginning . For the end you will need to use the button as far as I can say now. I’ll look further into it when I try mine after Christmas and let you know if I come up with anything for the end. What made you think this keyboard offered pedal start and stop? I never saw t ...

Just reading the manual now. You have to turn syncrostart off for recording. Not sure if that helps though.

Wow that was fast! Ordered yesterday and arrived today! I have to wait until Christmas according to Mrs. Clause however. I’ve been reading the manual and watching countless videos. Never enough videos of just common people playing it sadly.
