If there was another way Dan Stesco or others would have found out already. A few weeks ago Roland released a new firmware for their FA line which seems to support smooth sound transition. For live performance this reallys give the Roland FAs an advantage over the Krome. So may be this puts some ...

What you descibe is a so called after touch. Unfortunately the Krome keybed does not support aftertouch. The Krome however does. If you connect an external keybed via MIDI the aftertouch information can be executed by Krome. But with a standalone Krome you can do something similar. 1. Go to page 8 ...

Route the layers that you want to add to an IFX channel. Select the Stereo compressor. In the screen of the IFX channel select a control source for Output Level (I believe. I do not have a Krome in front of me.) You can choose SW1, SW2, one of the four User Knobs #1-#4, the damper pedal or the foot ...

How to crossfade with pedal?
From this wonderful forum I learned how to crossfade between two sounds with a userknob using two stereo compressors in two IFX slots. Now I tried to use the food pedal instead of a user knob. I can select the padal as source for the Output Level of the Stereo Compressor but it does not work. The ...

Obviously no expert wants to answer so I will try. Krome has inputs for three different types of pedals: - Pedal, typically to control the volume. Electrically it is a variable resistor or more accurate a potentiometer. - Switch, an on/off switch which works similar to the SW1 and SW2. Since I do ...

Hi msl-kybd, The manual does not mention anything about exporting and even krome heaven does not mention it. But I guess both you know. I would be extremely surprised, if it would be possible to export the sound samples. They are one of the main assets of Korg. Think about the unlooped piano of the ...

Global Transpose with key split
Hi Everyone, I am using my Krome now for about 7 months in an amateur rock band. Normally I am the bass player but on some songs I am providing all the missing instruments with my Krome. So I am using many splits and velocity layers to have quick access to many sounds. Now I found that when I use ...
