Good morning fellow warriors. I have gone completely ga-ga over software replacing a@@ heavy hardware and I am on a mission. It started with gravity bending Hammond/Leslie replacement. (as the gods smiled down on us and gave us B4 and later vst's) Then went ye ol' DX7 taken by FM7 and then FM8, oh ...

Quick question, Virtual Triton?
Is there a Triton vst, or some Korg host that will load/play the Triton files?(which are right here in KF)
There's Legacy and all the other stuff but is there any virtual Triton?
(What I really want is a virtual X50 but since it's based on Triton I thought I'd ask here first.)

Resistance is futile. Perhaps Yamaha saw the writing on the wall and knew that computers were coming down the pike. My favorite Yammi rack mount(FS1r) doesn't even have a rotary encoder for data entry and the led's on the front are the buttons. Witness the death of a wonderful synth only recently ...

Interesting thread. While not a Yamaha fanboy, I don't have any touchscreens, and never did. I just recently started using a Triton at a studio and find myself reminding myself that I can just use the screen. And, I learned the screen after only a few settings and can navigate easily since the same ...

Well, I made contact with Korg tech support about this and they say there is no way to load "user" patterns for Ext. Ctrl. They did however understand the "drawbar" idea and said it would be passed on. I'm no coder so I have no idea how to view the files being sent from the editor to the KP3 and ...

Thanks, that will be a part of what I am trying to do. I am trying to create a "user" pattern on the KP3 screen that is the opposite of the "fader" pattern that I will use to send "drawbar" data to "clonewheel" software. I am getting closer. Weird part is that somehow I need to convert the KP3 8x8 ...

KP3 User Patterns for Ext. Ctrl?
First of all, I AM searching but I thought I'd ask here too. Is there any way to edit the patterns available in Ext. Ctrl. mode or maybe create new patterns from scratch?
What I'm after is KP3 "drawbars" like the manual ones on Hammond organs, which "increase" from top to bottom.
