Hi guys, sorry to bring up an old thread but I couldn't help but mine the gold that was posted in the previous posts! As Sri said, glissando is an absolute must for indian music. I was sorely disappointed to find out the VERY limited modes available for "Portamento" on the PA keyboards and from what ...

Styles associated with sounds?

Hi all, is there a way to list all of the styles that have a particular sound from the sound bank?

I would like to remove some sounds and I want to make sure it doesn’t affect some of the styles that I use.

2 multisamples per layer if it's originally stereo. Sample it in minor or major 3rds from A3 to about A6. Check the dynamic layers to see if it's only a filter creating the differences in the dynamic layers which it may be. So either 9 samples per multisample or 12. Extreme Sample Converter should ...

You could but you probably won’t be able to get the nuances of playing N instrument like that, no?

Or will you need to do a multi sample per note?

Use tones from Roland G6 on PA1000

Is it possible to copy patches from Roland G6 or other synth to the PA1000?
This YouTuber mentioned that this is what he did with these tones.

He doesn't speak much English so trying to find out how it was done was difficult when I contacted him.

Thoughts?

In the case of samples the Pa700 has less memory. It also depends if the edited sounds are from internal sounds as well. Thank you very much for your reply. It did occur to me that maybe some of the samples wouldn't be available so that tone won't work. I guess it would have to be replaced with a ...

Use PA1000 tones in PA700

If I edit a tone on the PA1000, will I be able to use it on the PA700 or will it not work due to difference in the keyboards?

I’m asking because I see on YouTube some tones being sold for the 1000 but I don’t want to buy it and it doesn’t work with my 700

^^ I agree with you. I am very paranoid about using a laptop on stage (If you have two no problem) I use an MPC2500 to do all my mixing. It's the hardware equivalent of Ableton live. You shouldn't have much of a problem with the midi tho. Set the MPC as the master and the synth as the slave an you ...
