KARMA IS VERY POORLY INTEGRATED IN THE SEQUENCER FOR THIS REASON ALONE!!!!! That Resolution is a SICK joke! I mean, if we have GE's that are capable of doing 64th note arpeggiations, WHY ISN'T THE SEQUENCER DESIGNED TO MATCH IT?!!!! I have NOTHING but problems EVERY time I even TRY to Quantize my tracks that use KARMA!
I am confused. The OASYS 1/192 PPQ (parts per quarter note) translates into:
-- 12 parts (sub-divisions) per 64th note
-- 6 parts per 128th note
-- 3 parts per 256th note
I don't understand how Karma 64th note arpeggiations create any problem. I also don't understand your "why isn't sequencer designed to match it" statement. 192 PPQ EXCEEDS 64th note resolution by a factor of 12. Unless I misunderstand PPQ, the current resolution allows for 12 sub-divisions within a 64th note.
I am still looking for some type of factual information that shows the real value of higher PPQ resolution.
