Hi Thrinithan,

Yes, you have it right. Let me just clarify a bit.

When you move combis from one bank to another they are still referencing the programs in the old bank. So if you change around the programs in the old bank by doing something like loading in a new group of sounds, then the combis in the new bank will not work as programmed. The change all bank references command fixes this by changing the combis so they now reference the programs in the new bank where you have moved everything.

Best;

I suppose you could really mangle an existing program

or buy a toy piano at Wal-mart

i think you are better off with a Bell program- one you cut the sustain, I think you will be close

I recall the SRX07 Vintage Keyboard Expansion ( Roland) had the toy piano

Silly quick question...but...
The new sounds and the old sounds...I want to categorise them (ie Orchestral sounds, pianos, guitars etc), and I had started that by copying sounds to user A, I was building a useful user catagorised collection. Now these new sounds have gone into USER A - D, how do I do that? What I really want to do is to put these new sounds into the corresponding INT banks (ie the new pianos into category Piano) and then create new USER banks A-D with my own selection of sounds.
If I do this will my own selection of sounds in USER A-D auto load? And how best to achieve this?

Go to global, select Load Preload Data, then select Program and then Bank.
It lets you load a single bank of the factory sounds to whichever bank you want. Repeat for each new bank :)

I'm not sure what you mean..

The new sound/patches are more categorised like producer styled sounds in the bank select wich is OK but.... it would have been nice to have the same categorisatiaon as the rest of the factory banks.
