Hi there daniellautarul
Just to clarify something,
XRM has always been free, and this thread is about continuing the development of it and adding extras features to it, it is not about where can it be gotten from.
when Ricfreak developed it and released it as freeware one of his conditions was that he was able to control where it was available from on the internet he stated that people should seek his consent to host it anywhere the following is a quote from the "about box" of XRM:
"XRM 1.X is a freeware utility. This means that anyone can use it without restrictions. But I will like to have things under my control regarding its distribution over the internet. Hence, if you want this program available / downloadable from your site you should ask for my consent."
This is the reason I have been trying to contact him and asking people if they have current contact details for him, I have written a letter to him by snail mail asking for his consent to continue development and also to be able to host any future development on my website.

I've just send you the files.
As I mentioned before, they never worked for me. Probably they are an earlier version than those files that Taverna and Daniellautarul already provided.
Hope you can take advantage of Riccardo's published source code and the database file and do finalize the project.

Thanks, for sharing the files with us.
Have you installed and tested the utility? Does it working well?

Dear Mick and friends,
it is so nice your will to build up something that can be used by the forum members. Don't ask me why, I feel that WE get the goal.
1. I devoted most of my participation to this ecxcellent Forum, talking about CUSTOMIZING Style Sets to the individual taste and needs. You can see my posts about this item, at the following links:

2. Little after I purchased PA1X (having OS 2.52) I purchased the KAT2000 software from Milan Marcovich (he was mentioned on Korg site links). This software was PERFECT and I found that it was VERY USEFULL to REMAP your Styles or Programs Banks (within a SET).
Thank to this software I could easily work on my PC, make hundreds of changes, and then load the finished work into PA1X: PERFECT.
3. I enjoyed (and still use) OS 3.0. But the BAD NEW with the new OS was that when you start KAT2000 and try to open a SET made with 3.0 OS, KAT does not even recognize it and cant open it.
4. I enquired Milan Markovich, the autor of KAT2000, and he said he was waiting for data from Korg.
5. Unfortunately timepassed but nothing happened. And I cant even contact Milan any more. So I have that excellent software, but cant use with OS 3.0 or higher.....
So Mick, let me know if I can contribute in any way toyour effort.
Ciao
Angelo

Just install XRM 1.2 on your PC and you'll be able to reorganize and save the styles after your own layout exactly as you wish. Unfortunately there is no function to organize performances and user sounds (yet), unless Taverna2005 is willing to share the "Performance Editor".
Otherwise, we'll have to wait until Mick will be ready with his project. I hope we’ll soon have a beta version for testing.
Regards, Tascone.
HI Tascone and all
A quick update on the project
I am almost ready to release version 1.3 for testing, I dont have a PA keyboard myself but will have 1 on loan from this evening and I want to test the creation of PRF files before releasing it.
The main difference is this update will allow you to organise Performances as well as styles, Thanks to Taverna2005

Sounds great to me!!

Just can't wait to test it. Many thanks to both of you.

Hi keys and all,
sorry for delay I had some personal issues which kept me away from the computer for the past week but I'm back to work now
the current status is :
Styles - no change from version 1.2
Performances - Looking good writing PRF files to keyboard
I am just writing up a user guide and then will upload it for people to test out and find all the deliberate bugs hidden throughout it
(only joking)
