Interesting start ... nice car sound fade to the background and Oh Man - love that acoustic bass !! Whoo Yea Baby Yea!

What a wonderful mix of styles - lots of Chic influence in there. There is some real slick playing in there jaz! Agghh - the solo voice - I wish I could play like that!

You are talented in composition! Did you manually program the drums? What equipment are you using? Man that is some serious drum action - I only dream of being able to pull that off.

Some of the transitions I thought were a touch abrupt. In particular ~ 2:00 and ~3:11, and ~3:30. The voices and execution are so cool though

Fancy playing there man! I love the various movements on the Rhodes.

The transitions are fantastic! I do see where they are a bit abrupt in places.

I loved the way you built that expectation of adventure into the opening. Then very cool oozy squeezy sounds. And then..... WOW !! ... this type of jazz sound reminded me of the absolutely brilliant jazz music of Hugh Masekela, a South African musician.

Yeah, you should have posted a new thread or people won't know you've uploaded this. Like I've said before, are you singlehandedly reviving the fuzion vibe? And that's fine by me, I still listen to this type of music quite often and this piece stands up right alongside the greats. Maybe you're looking to win the next grammy or something. While I love everything you're doing here I do think some of the transitions need more work, maybe just to give some of those spots another measure or 2 to make it smoother. But hey, I love this piece and can't imagine how you pull this off even as is. Great tune!

Wrote a long bit on fusion, classic, and transition, as we knew it in FL....and then deleted the whole thing..I am forever tryin' to get people to understand the relationships...but we lived in Florida..so we know...

Days of Spinnaker..and Club La Vela..(party with thousands, (literally..)), when all bands, played all.. ..(well..almost all) genre's..Heard Journey jam in the style here on the beach...before they were Journey..and earlier..,

Met Jefferson Airplane ..talked to Grace Slick half the day.....and it was just 'cause I ran an icehouse..(a real one..) and we mix this stuff with Winton Marsalis...?? well...in Florida...(and Marsalis is...a classical artist as well, remember...Not unusual...Background for many Jazz/Cl.Rock performers..

And Herman, Bacharach, DeMeola, and Pete Fountian. and many others we got to hear as workers in a tourist area...(I rented go carts...all the way to ..mgr of a motel...

So you know how I feel...and what I think...Can we ever forget..? ..Not Me..

What a great sound, it's all about mood and feeling.

Some parts do seem to finish too quickly, the playing is superb.
Quite a minimal arrangement in places, and also pushing the boundaries too, it’s not lacking in anything.

wow, smooth and jazzy, and what a great sound. Nice production. you've sure got great chops. sheesh.

if I had one suggestion, and I'm not sure how this would play out in this style, it would be to try to smooth in and out of some of the section changes to make them slightly less abrupt. an example might be to let a chord play into the next measure and then fade instead of fade and play right into the next measure. but feel free to ignore me on that.

we think you got lots of potential. I'm impressed! wow.
