I'm using the 'Thick Synth Bass' preset in the Korg Polysix and I noticed that the tone of the bass changes if I stop the track, and then start it again. It changes like 3 different times. It doesn't change while the track is playing....at least not that I've noticed yet, but only when I stop and start the track in my DAW. The tone goes from very powerful and deep, to a more dirty sounding Bass guitar'ish tone, to something that has no Low End in it.
Can anyone tell me why it does this? I turned the Analog down to zero. Is there something I am overlooking here? If anyone can shed some light on this problem, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!!!

its phasing isnt it? Its becuase there is more than one oscillator. Its not a bug, its just the way synths work. I had the exact same thing today on by bassline i made in Rob Papen bLUE. (great synth!) If its not the ocs's phasing its another setting.
To get around I have to record the bassline tru an outboard eq and just listen and watch the wav as its recorded. To make sure that you get it with the bass. Then I just choped-out the bit with the bass and used that.
I bet thats what it is, if not I have no idea.
