The strange thing is that most shops don't take it seriously. All serious owners know is is not a toy but a tool.I find it a challenge to wrie a song with a basic drumcomputer and two monophonic synths. The sounds are excellent, although the drumsounds needed to be tweaked heavily. I reprogrammed the fourth sound - a kind of bleep - into an open hihat..
I want to change the snare in a handclap, but it will not be easy......

I think if I read your post correctly you find it easier to program drum loops on the DS-10 than in the computer? Well that's my experience. and as i keep saying, a hell of a lot easier than program step sequence with a tribe.gothbin wrote:The strange thing is that most shops don't take it seriously. On an apologetic side note:
I have to say I can be pretty thoughtless at times and it just hit me; thru may sarcastic sense of humor I have effectively thread jacked this thread which was suppose to be to help someone with a KO-1 looping issue.
salamanderanagram, xmlguy, and sherman did a great job of answering this treads original question.
So with that in mind if any of you all have more comments, tips, tricks or experiences with the DS-10 please post at the following thread since it was originally started as a DS-10 dedicated thread:
