I also doubt that after the triton and trinity and M3 and M50 and even the OASYS that KORG would change their two switches above the joystick to a three button configuration. its unnecesary and makes no sense. The truth is that most hands on controls on a synth don't get used anyway, I can't see an extra button being useful.
The scale setting section in particular looks badly superimposed (see the shadows and funny angles on the top edges of the buttons, and the rough lines around the edges that do not match the rest of the panelling) - also, why not just use an octave of the keyboard or chord recognition? I just don't think it fits into KORG's product design.
and don't you think they would use the same style buttons throughout the whole front panel instead of using some oversized push (instead of click) buttons for the scale section?
