TIRED OF WAITING!

Hello Al, After using the pa1XPro 3 years i jumped over to PA2X when it come out!I loved the new look, And of course Why not heave a Better Sounding KB, if i can Buy it!
Some great Functions many Reorganized styles and a better design, Fooled me, And i buyed, After only few month, My HD died, After 1 year, OS arrived and I had Major Problems,like many had from here, So now the Leeds are not working,And more, So i Decided, I,m not gonna take more S%€#%T Any more from KORG!!!

I,m thinking to buy a More Powerful KB Workstation, I heave a budget on 4000 Ero, Which i think is what they ask for, So, Can you guys advice me on this?
I,m great Entertainer, And can use the KB,s for max.
What do i need from a KB is

Great Design

Ergonomic

Semi Keybed
Better LCD screen Whit Output options for Monitor
Usage for USB MOUSE
VSTI compatible
Harmonizer
And al the stuf we expect from a Pro KB

I tested the Audya and i did not like that
OS not ready and more.....
KORG are to Expensive for what they are offering, Or what they promis and than there is nothing!
After so long time of owning the PA series from KORG, I still dont heave any major upgrade from them,In Style, Samples,Or other things. As Sound editing on PC forexample.
SoT3 Is a great sounding,ligth weigth unit, Sounds are far better than the PA2X,Like Strings and Gitars are , Almoust VSTI.

Liontracks are in my opnion the best KB on the market, But is there any other stuff you guys heave been tested or heard about?

After 8 years of playing PA series i,m tired of the same styles and sounds, For more creative music making, i,m deciding to buy another KB, But not KORG,
So please give me some ideas and feedback on this.

Yes , it seem to me KORG is Tired And They Have Nothing To Release(There Are No New Updates
And Support)...
Korg Must To be Upgrade...
We are Waiting...Else (Korg = Gem)

Hi Dear Friends

I would not get a replacement keyboard if I were you. If looking in the price range of PA800 and PA2X, KORG PA arrangers offer way more than arrangers of the competition.

If you need fresh sounds, leave your PA and get an Hardware DAW for VSTs such as SoundSlate (http://www.openlabs.com/soundslate.html).

Even better, If you have technical background, you can build your own PC DAW. In Canada where I live for around $1000CAD you can build a Killer DAW (this includes sound card). I suggest E-MU sound cards (cheap and good quality). There are plenty of VST host software you can use for Live performance, such as Brainspawn Forte, V-STack etc. A well configured PC will give you access to almost unlimited creativity. Here is an excellent example of how musicians use software for live performance

If you buy a new arranger you will have to create all styles and sounds from scratch, and after a year you will once again become bored with the new arranger's sounds (I know this from personal Experience). With Lionstracs or Audya keyboards you are still dependent on the company updates. Also, don't forget that KORG PA arrangers are Excellent master keyboards, and I am very thankful to KORG for giving us this feature! Soon I will be building my PC DAW which I will use together with PA800.

With respect, you may not appreciate all the problems Asena has encountered for a long time. Understandably, Sam would now be concerned about reliability in view of all the hardware problems he has had. He is also a professional musician so equipment reliability is of utmost importance.

I have followed and sympathised with your frustrations for quite a while and can understand what you are needing.

I think Sharp has some experience with Lionstracs - it might be worth a pm to him with your questions. It would seem that a Lionstracs solution could provide you with the flexibility you need.

I don't know what else to suggest - Audya still isn't ready, Tyros is very limited IMHO, Roland is just not there yet, Gem was cool in the early 90's, Casio...hmmmm (5 year warranty though)??

Pete I still think that a PC is a better solution than paying more money and getting just a more expensive toy.

He does not have to use a KORG PA arranger as a master keyboard. He can use any other master keyboard he preferes with some kind of arranger software such as Live-Styler http://www.live-styler.de/home/. It would still be cheaper and would allow the freedom to customize the instrument any way you wish.

The only Negative side to this idea is that the user truly NEEDS more than basic knowledge to setup, customize and use a PC. Personally, for me this is not a problem since I am software engineer and therefore I am heading in this direction.

i totally agree here! PA2x is currently the top arranger keyboard on the market slap me if i'm wrong

Ok Guys, I had the T3 in 2 month of time, And it,s not true that the T3 is limited, There is so much styles from YAMAHA that can be loaded in to t3, And re edit, And it will sound super, Couse there is a sound quality in t3, Also, There is more stuf from YAMAHA for it, EX is The sound editor and more.
We are stil stucked on that front!
No editing software, And may great people from KF is triying to make a program so we can edit thing or open folders for exchanging sounds and styles, But it crahses the PA2X.

What i,m angry and confused about is, 1,st my english to explain in detaly, second KORG seems to be a PLAYER, Couse After 1000,s of mail, still no answear for many questions.
How many are using the notator, I mean the function that shows us NOTES, Why using time to deliver that thing when we heave big problems for LEEDs and more terrific errors?

Why not making FABRIQ styles for the unit and heave them for sale for a Intresting Buck of money.Why not give us samples that we can use in the genre of RNB HOUSE TECHNO BALLADS CONTEMPORARY OR orchestal?Only KORG People from other countrys maded USB s and are selling them on net, KORG is just waiting, And waiting, So where is all the promisses from them?256 ram , nothing to put in there!Is a great function that we can build sounds, But, Social intrest and other things from life takes also the time, So Where is the time over for us, to make samples as a pro?
Just imagine, Korg relees a set, whit great great New synth sounds and new DR kits whit samples, Loops and some superb pads, and Some New realistic instruments whit clearly cyrspy FX, How many of us can begin to LOVE this KB al over again , How many of us will make new Sets whit new styles?What i can see from here is that the KF father Sharp, And other PPL like ROB, maded many things for korg, I realy hope that KORG Can respect that and give them a hug at least!

And Please dont get me wrong, But, Some of us are playing more modern music, Not only Ballads or Valtz & Rumba!

We need NEW Thing, I sad that 10000 times b 4.

And in evry topic we say, COME ON KORG, PLEASE KORG, GO FOR IT KORG, HELP US KORG bla bla, Ohh man, I,m not begging any more from them, In future maybe they will say, Come on People, Please Buy this PA7 X whit 512 ram, And better Sax sound, And the same Styles whit better Samples,

For get it, You cant fool me twice.

There is realy no need for make history, But the will be history if they not change their policy.
I worked whit KORG 10 years ago here in sweden,, I maded styles, Sound for them, even them are not like the old times, They also dont care, Couse many people are claiming them for hardware problems, So after a while they also get tired of it.

Hi pete, You are one of the greatest person that realy undarstands me, Thanx bro, No realy i heave so many sampled sounds whit real great quality for my pa2x, But after i load the same in my FANTOM or, Laptop, MACBOOK, i hear the difrence, So , We heave a great KB , but not so sod AD/DA, on it, mayn poor stuff!
Just look at the FANTOMS OS, is like A PC, And clearly explained, You find al the parameters on the second.

Next KB from KORGYS , they realy must think twice!

Techniq is cheap now, And stop giving us things that no one uses, or in need, Focus on what we need.
