I bought it brand new when they first came out but didn't really use it much. Its as good as new tbh. Defo been a manufacturing fault but i never noticed it on my vestax 08 as there is send /return gain control and i could tweak return up by 10db.....

I know its always been like this as any time i used to use the in built synths/drums id have to watch out cause they were LOUD as a mutha, now I know why they were so loud, I always thought it was poor design.. I always had to keep the volume control down on INT drums/synths for it to match music level.
But something between the preamp and the KP3 A-D converter might be fried/defective. The Green/Orange LED proves that the KP3 is getting a good level, so something down the line appears to be a problem.

Im on to korg so lets hope they can sort this for me and hopefully at no great cost because as i say, its like new , never been mistreated(i know about levels and Im ALWAYS in the green) and its been like this since birth....

Much thanks for all your time and advice bro. Hopefully get this sorted as its one nice fx unit.

my buddy just got the rane mixer and wanted to hook up the kp3 to it and i dont know what to say at first it didnt work the fxs would go over all four channels and when you turned the flexfx off for a channel the sound would in-cress alot you got to look at it like a bus you have to send it down the right path if you want it to work or yell at thats what we did and by the way the bridge works great look out work

peace out

Would you like some capitaization? :D
:)

I'm saving it all up for Christmas!

I don't think my lack of capitalization will have stopped anyone reading my post, whereas I gave up halfway through Psy-Op's post when I ran out of breath

Well, your post was the only one to criticize him. :P

It was an arduous task to read his post though. And I'm still wondering what he means by his post-script... Google has suggested that he is either being rather rude or that he is advocating the use of a Linux suite of tools. Though according to the Urban Dictionary, the former is also advocating the use of particular tools...
