Options & Plug-in Kronos
On page 788 of the Kronos parameters guide manual it talks about installed options and plug-ins. Does anyone know of something coming down the pike in the future?
Re: Options & Plug-in Kronos
Still a mystery. Obviously room for expansions like the Oasys.tomd wrote:On page 788 of the Kronos parameters guide manual it talks about installed options and plug-ins. Does anyone know of something coming down the pike in the future?

Only the Editor is known to be published, for the rest we only can wait. I'm sure when something is known it will be announced in this forum (or shortly after an official announcement).

Developer of the free PCG file managing application for most Korg workstations: PCG Tools, see https://www.kronoshaven.com/pcgtools/
As the Kronos OS is mostly that of the OASYS OS, I would suggest the options part is just part of the big 'port over' to Kronos.
I find it difficult to imagine that Korg will ever go the purchase-able options (like STR-1 for example) route again and have to manage all the licensing that goes along with.
It did make me laugh though when I first test-drove the Kronos and saw the options screen - I thought "why on earth is that there!!!"!!!

I assume Korg will have purchasable options for the Kronos, perhaps announced at the next Winter NAMM (January, 2012)?cello wrote: I find it difficult to imagine that Korg will ever go the purchase-able options (like STR-1 for example) route again and have to manage all the licensing that goes along with.
